Great gem of a restaurant and cafe (and bar) - the space itself sits on a massive lot that has a cafe/bakery/restaurant in the front with a massive outdoor space with about 10-15 tables, the space has mist fans and is relatively covered to keep you cool on hot days. Their happy hour is bangin', highly recommend you try their double smash burger (on par w NADC), fries lacked seasoning in my opinion. Also had their vanilla bean soft serve - very tasty, just what I needed on a scalding day. Service was great, you order via a QR code, it's easy. Decent amount of space inside, outlets too which could make this spot great for wfh. Lastly, there's an awesome back bar with TV's and AC, epic.

Love this quick elevated casual spot! Order off a QR code at the table- seat yourself. Burger is a highlight- rivals the best in all of austin! The shrimp taco salad had great flavor served on top of a crispy tortilla that was light and flaky.

Highly recommend this spot. Plenty of space outside to work or mingle with people. Just hot in August. Then there were also some small tables and like three picnic tables inside in the AC. Didn't try the bakery but LOVED our lunch! I ordered the burger - two wagyu smash burger patties, american & pimento cheese, pickle, secret sauce, challah bun. It was life changing! My friend ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. She said is was delicious. Our cocktails were flavorful and maybe premade bc they came out fast!!! Only downside was you order with your phone and toastmasters is weird sometimes.

Sour Duck Market is an Austin must! I went on a hot early Saturday morning and was worried about the heat. No worry needed! There was plenty of shade, misters and and indoor bar area to the back. I enjoy the scan the menu and order format. The service was timely even on a busy Saturday morning. I ordered a cortado and a chicken brunch item whose name slipped my mind as I enjoyed the meal so much. The combination of fried chicken, corn compote and squash with an over easy egg was amazing! The freshness and quality was savored in every bite. The cortado was so amazing in flavor I ordered a second. For dessert we got the pistachio pinwheel and lemon loaf which after our meal we saved for later in the day. The ambiance was somewhere I see brining people who are visiting to get the true Austin experience. Along with a great date night, friend meet up or family hang out spot. All in all sour duck market is a new favorite spot for us.
